As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience. What You’ll Do
As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience. What You’ll Do
- Drive membership sales by educating customers on the benefits of routine wellness care
- Build strong relationships with dog parents and provide outstanding customer service
- Promote and schedule first time visits to our Scenter
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
- Ensure dog safety protocols are always followed to provide a stress-free experience for pets
- Drive key performance indicators – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
- Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
- Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep reception area clean and presentable
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
What We’re Looking For

- A sales-driven mindset with a passion for helping customers make informed decisions
- Proactive and coachable, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and are customer service focused with a willingness to deliver above and beyond levels of service as well as eager to seek opportunities to develop and contribute valuably
- A passion for dog wellness and safety
- Retail, hospitality, or membership-based sales experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Computer/ Technology proficiency
- Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
- Must love all dogs!
Stand out candidates will have:
- 1+ years of related membership sales franchise experience in a similar role
- 1+ years in lead generation follow-up (phone calls, texting and securing appointments)
- Sales experience and confidence (membership sales is highly valued!)
- Experience working with dogs
- Customer service experience (fitness franchise, membership franchise model or exceptional customer service experience)
