About the Position:
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of dogs and dog owners through preventative routine care and wellness? The store (Scenter) manager is a vital position at Scenthound, offering strong leadership, sales expertise, and exceptional customer service to dogs and dog parents.

Job location: 3830 W. Neptune, Tampa 33629

This position requires: 
  • Management experience (3-5 years is required)
  • Customer service experience (pet, retail, or restaurant) - minimum of 3 years with direct client interaction is required
  • Experience with Sales (monthly/quarterly goals), Scheduling/Time Management and Mentoring/Training employees is required  
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time
Who We Are Looking For:
We are searching for a manager who is confident with sales and goals and building a new team. A successful manager is an independent problem solver, adaptable, detail-oriented, and compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can manage the day-to-day operations of the Scenter (Scenthound store) with an emphasis on critical KPIs: Dog Membership Sales, Labor Efficiency Ratio (employee scheduling), Average Ticket Price (services and retail sales), Customer Retention, Rebooking Appointments, etc.  

Tasks:
  • Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
  • Maintain a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness and safety
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship for the Scenter employees
  • Drive employee development through leadership, training, and performance reviews
  • Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation, employee audits, and training
  • Identify when/where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule
  • Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns
  • Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times

  • Effective communication with team members and dog parents

  • Recruiting, hiring, and creating a happy and effective team
  • Time-management/Scheduling – ability to efficiently and effectively manage employees' schedules and customer appointments

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
