We are membership based so customers return each month for services. Our services include bath, nail care, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, flea treatments, functional trims, basic haircuts, and more. At Scenthound we only offer puppy cuts; one length all-over with a neat face (no specialty breed haircuts, styling or sculpting).

Who We Are Looking For:
We are searching for a Lead Groomer/Trimmer who is very confident with performing functional trims (sanitary, paw, eye brows) and puppy haircuts (one-length all over). We're specifically looking for someone who can handle volume and can perform puppy cuts at a quick speed. About the Position:
This is a unique position where the Lead Groomer/Trimmer will focus time on puppy haircuts (trimming) instead of prepping the dog for the groom (the bathing, nail care, teeth brushing, brush-out and blow dry is performed by the Bather, not the groomer). The Lead Groomer/Trimmer is an integral position at Scenthound, offering expert grooming knowledge, providing leadership to a team of bathers, and facilitating training to new groomers.
This is a unique position where the Lead Groomer/Trimmer will focus time on puppy haircuts (trimming) instead of prepping the dog for the groom (the bathing, nail care, teeth brushing, brush-out and blow dry is performed by the Bather, not the groomer). The Lead Groomer/Trimmer is an integral position at Scenthound, offering expert grooming knowledge, providing leadership to a team of bathers, and facilitating training to new groomers.
This position requires:
- 1-2 years of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school
- Speed and confidence with puppy cuts; one length all-over with a neat face (no specialty haircuts)
- Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and tools of the trade
- Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Be a team player and help bathers with basic tasks such as bathing or nail clipping, if needed
