About the Position:
About the Position:
The Lead Groomer is an integral position at Scenthound. We are looking for a leader to join our South Tampa team. We can offer full time or part-time hours.
This position requires:
- At least one year of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school
- Experience cutting multiple dog breeds with clippers and shears is a must
- Leadership: Ability to train others
- Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

A successful Lead Groomer is knowledgeable, patient, adaptable, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a leader and team player to join our dynamic and friendly team.
Tasks
- We do puppy cuts/summer cuts only; one length all-over with a neat face. No specialty cuts.
- Proficiency in paw, sanitary, and face trims
- Be a leader - train other staff
- Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the General Manager (bathing, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail clip/grind)
