What You'll Do
As a SCENT Tech, you'll provide the essential hygiene services that keep dogs clean, comfortable, and healthy.
Responsibilities include:
- Bathing and drying dogs
- Trimming and grinding nails
- Cleaning ears and brushing teeth
- Brushing and de-shedding coats
- Expressing anal glands (training provided)
- Performing a S.C.E.N.T. Check to identify visible skin, coat, ear, nail, and dental concerns
- Recording observations in our S.C.E.N.T. Check system
- Preparing dogs for grooming services
- Working with your team to keep appointments on schedule
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
- Ensuring every dog is handled safely and compassionately
What We're Looking For

Job Requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an entire shift
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working in a smoke-free environment
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Previous professional dog bathing or grooming experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person who has a great work ethic, positive attitude, and a genuine love for dogs.
